Many Bernies are Bernie, and many Bernies are Bernie, but what Bernie is most Bernie?
Is the Bernie the most Bernie? Or is Bernie the Berniest Bernie? Bernie is Bernie most could be? What is Bernie most?
Bernie most Bernie of all ever? Mostest most Bernie is?
What most Bernie ever Bernie was?

I know absolutely nothing about Bernie except that I might have to vote for him as a defense against Trump, which is the worst possible outcome for America as a whole.
But superficially, I think he’s about as polished and professional as Admiral Stockdale. And yes, that’s part of the office, whether we like it or not.
If it was all about competence and ideas over politics and image, Ron Paul would have already won.

All the other candidates are either extreme right or extreme left. Bernie is the closest to being in the middle as possible. He’s the only candidate who makes sense when he speaks instead of just side stepping a question.
I don’t agree with him on everything, but I agree with him on what I consider to be important issues

I know what you mean, he would be someone I would normally ignore as another old man who finds everything wrong with the world. In the case of his country, there’s plenty to be fixed, and I think he has the right vision, but imagining him on the world stage - photo ops when he meets with other presidents of the world - it doesn’t look quite right to me.
However, if we're basing things on looks, it's not like Trump has much to brag about. I think his hair is even more of a joke than Bernie's unkempt head.

My increasingly conservative mother complained that she couldn’t vote for either Trump or Bernie - she’s got a touch of that “both sides do it” nonsense. I explained that no, mom, Code Pink never showed up at a W even with assault rifles and Planned Parenthood never made a sting video - I said “he’s a cranky Jew, you’re a cranky Jew,” so you’re choice is made.

America has no extreme left. Our left is actually “middle” but we've got extreme right in spades.

Taken with a worldview, absolutely.
Younger people of today did not go through (or remember learning) about the second red scare and McCarthyism.
For me, I personally think that the average person here in America has more in common with a bum than a billionaire. The reason why I say this is because I am more likely to succumb to the challenges which affected the bum in adverse ways. A billionaire, not so much.
Socialism! It’s a thing in 2016!

To be fair to your mum, Millennials are the first generation to have the knowledge of the world at their fingertips. We can look things up on virtually any subject we want.
How many older people do not use the internet for research on topics they know little about? I would guess their main source of information are commercials and whatever they catch on cable news or local news.
My main point? If you’re leaning Blue, go read
The National Review
and
Red State.
If you’re leaning Red, go read
The Mother Jones
and
The Nation.
Be informed, involved and VOTE!
Disclaimer: I support Bernie Sanders

Tea Party members are typically considered a branch of libertarianism, in that they favor small government. They normally differ on military spending and personal liberties however. Libertarians are not considered democrats by most.

He’s the only real politician. Right or left, you have to recognize that he’s the people’s politician. He wasn’t bought out by a large corporation or had his campaign financed by one. I’m voting for him because he’s my politician, not the Koch Brothers’.

Yes! What you just said makes me happy. You can’t vote for an imaginary ideal that will align perfectly with your own compass, you have to vote for the person who is actually competent.
